Restorative Justice Online receives a large number of visitors each day. It is the highest ranked website on the topic, according to Google. But with the growth of restorative justice, we found that the old format and software would soon become impediments. We think that the temporary inconvenience of getting to know the new site will be well worth it to you.

Three of most interesting new features are Restorative Justice around the World (just click on the world map in the right hand column), Programme Design Resources with information about how to start a restorative justice programme, and Real People, Real Stories with actual people who have experienced restorative processes.

The effectiveness of restorative justice programmes can hinge on the knowledge, skill and values of those who operate them. Here is a wealth of resources for practitioners.
What Public Policy Resources Are There?
As restorative justice has been incorporated into the criminal justice system, countries have faced a series of public policy issues. This section includes legislation, court decisions, governmental guidelines, research by government agencies, inter-governmental documents, and articles raising public policy issues related to restorative justice.
What Resources on Theory Are Available?
The literature on restorative justice theory continues to grow as new areas of practice and application are explored.
What is the Research Tool?
The Research Tool makes it possible to search nearly 6,000 articles, papers or books on restorative justice. It provides bibliographic information on the publications, typically with a short summary. Many have links to the complete text of the article. This service, formerly called the Articles Library, typically receives more visits each month than any other part of RJ Online.
