The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation promotes democratic co-existence and transitional justice in South Africa and other countries where there is a need to heal the divisions of the past. Through this website, the Institute provides resources on several transitions in different countries, and the debates about the truth and reconciliation commission.

links to upcoming and past events and the Reconciliation Barometer. Through
the Reconciliation Barometer
Project, the Institute monitors the reconciliation process. Available
information includes: an exploratory survey and research report, a sample
issue of the Reconciliation Barometer Newsletter and contact
information.
Publications offers a drop
down window with several options: Recent Publications, Books, Brochures,

Articles is a listing of

South Africa Monitor is
a project focusing on the continuing challenges of democratic co-existence
and transitional justice as well as the on-going debates about
reconciliation. Resources found under the South Africa Monitor
