Ecuador in 109? never been in a war, no terrorism, only country with an environmental law, could walk on the street safe at night. free education, and hospital for the poor. very friendly to gays and minorities. Is this a joke? countries like Egypt Peru more peaceful? lol. A country that takes refuges and people from hunger and welcomes them with open arms is in 109? wow! This persons really are on some kind of drug, have u ever heard a tourist being hurt in Ecuador? Ecuador is in the top 20 go to the country. I live in Canada and I know human rights and safety is not better than Ecuador if you think that, you have no idea of the life or history of the country.

You might pass this along to the group that compiles the list. Their 2010 list is out (http://www.visionofhumanity.org/gpi-data/#/2010/scor) and Ecuador has moved up. Perhaps they need to hear from you!
